My Journey:
 

I migrated to the US in 2009 to complete my Masters in Mental Health and Spirituality.  After my graduation in 2013, from Christian Theological Seminary which is affiliated with Butler University, Indianapolis, Indiana, I moved to San Diego, California.  I have worked with low income at-risk-youth, homeless, gang activists, refugees and immigrants and I understand their struggle being an immigrant myself. I have lived in 6 Countries and have high multi-cultural competency to work with different ethnic groups.

My Approach:

 

I believe that the path to healing is a gradual one. If you're ready to start a kinder relationship with yourself and other people, then I'd love to work with you. I'm here to help you heal and am committed to your therapeutic success. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as; Psychoanalytic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Interpersonal therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy. I believe in working collaboratively to provide treatment that is individualized to your needs.

My Commitment to Learning:

 

I am certified in Grief Counseling, Anger Management and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  I am eligible to take Court ordered clients to complete Anger Management classes. I have worked with crisis centers and emergency units, which require acute mental health and suicidal interventions.

 

Outside of the Office:

 

I am a Wife and Mother. I have a passion for my garden. In my spare time I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family and two dogs, Cleo and Winnie.
