My Education and Experience:
 

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#126863). I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, from Antioch University, Santa Barbara; a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, from Sacramento State University. I have trained in Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavior Modification, Play Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy and most recently I trained in Rapid Resolution Therapy with Dr. Jon Connelly.

Life is full of experiences that impact our everyday. Some experiences can develop into challenges and obstacles that hinder our daily life. It is my mission to help you navigate these experiences and help you achieve personal satisfaction. I believe that You are capable of adapting to any change or challenge. I’ll teach you easy-to-use tools that will help you adjust to any of the life changes that have been challenging you. You’ll discover your inner resources to improve your situation. I am truly passionate about providing individualized therapy and advocating to help you identify and overcome obstacles, so you can live a happier and more balanced life.

 

I specialize in working with individuals and groups of all ages. I use evidence-based practices including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavior modification, play therapy and rapid resolution therapy, which is a painless way to process and clear trauma. I work with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, childhood trauma & Post-traumatic stress disorder, military life, divorce, parenting, self-esteem, grief, life transitions and more.

 

My Commitment to Learning:

 

I am committed to learning new and advanced strategies to achieve an understanding on how best to work with each person and create change in your life. I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and currently enrolled in a PhD program to further my education.
